International students have the option of joining our Summer School Programme designed for students aged 14 to 18. The Summer School Programme is offered on set dates four times a year and runs for a duration of 2 to 4 weeks.

About Our Summer School Programme

The Summer School Programme is open to both individual students and school groups. Students benefit from the multi-cultural learning environment when studying with students from many countries.

Accommodation

Single Homestay Accommodation with full board is available to individual students. Students travelling in groups with a tour leader may choose from Homestay or Hotel Accommodation.


Airport Transfers—Arrival & Departure

Students will be met at the airport on arrival by their Homestay
Family or a SACE Representative.


Organised Activities

The Summer Programme includes a full day Great Barrier Reef
Adventure and 4 afternoon activities each week.


High School Integration

The High School Integration Programme introduces students to Australian School life and allows them to interact with Australian students whilst participating in classes.

Students will spend two days at the High School. They will be allocated an Australian student as a ‘buddy’ on arrival. The buddy will be with the students throughout the day.


Cost Includes:

• English tuition sessions on Monday to Friday—Total 15 hours per week
• Course materials & certificate
• Airport transfers on arrival and departure
• Farewell lunch
• 14 nights homestay accommodation in a single room with full board (breakfast, packed lunch & dinner).
• A full day excursion to the Great Barrier Reef which includes snorkeling, informative reef teach lessons, semisubmersible boat ride, underwater observatory and meals.
• 2 full days at the Proserpine High School.

Total Nett Cost:

• 2 Week Programme: AUD$1895.00 per person
• 4 Week Programme: AUD$2990.00 per person

OPTIONAL EXTRA WEEKEND ACTIVITIES – AIRLIE BEACH:

• Sailing through the 74 majestic Whitsunday Islands,
• snorkelling trip to the Great Barrier Reef, stay at a tropical Island Resort,
• visit the world famous Whitehaven Beach,
• discover the sub-tropical wetlands and view wild crocodiles,
• visit the weekend seaside markets or dine at one
  of the many oceanfront restaurants.
